Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed has been appointed as chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office, by order of President Sheikh Khalifa.
The appointment of Sheikh Khalid, who is also a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, was among a slew of decrees issued by the Ruler of Abu Dhabi on Monday.
Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed was appointed chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court. The post was previously held by Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed, who is also a member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
Dr Ahmed Al Mazrouei was appointed chairman of the newly established Office of the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
Sheikh Khalifa also issued a decree assigning Falah Al Ahbabi as acting chairman of the Department of Transport, in addition to his current role of chairman of the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities.
The Department of Government Support was established and Ali Al Ketbi was named chairman and a new member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
According to the decree, the Department of Government Support will include the Abu Dhabi Statistics Centre, Human Resources Authority, Abu Dhabi School of Government and Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, reported state news agency Wam.
On Monday, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, added Mr Al Ketbi and Maryam Almheiri, director general of the Abu Dhabi Government Media Office, to the Executive Committee of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

Snacks - Potato, corn and tortilla chips often contain trans fat. And while popcorn can be a healthy snack, many types of packaged or microwave popcorn use trans fat to help cook or flavour the popcorn.
Fried food - Foods that require deep frying — french fries, doughnuts and fried chicken — can contain trans fat from the oil used in the cooking process.
Refrigerator dough - Products such as canned biscuits and cinnamon rolls often contain trans fat, as do frozen pizza crusts.
Creamer and margarine - Nondairy coffee creamer and stick margarines also may contain partially hydrogenated vegetable oils.

How to apply for a drone permit
- Individuals must register on UAE Drone app or website using their UAE Pass
- Add all their personal details, including name, nationality, passport number, Emiratis ID, email and phone number
- Upload the training certificate from a centre accredited by the GCAA
- Submit their request

- Ensure maximum flying height of 400 feet (122 metres) above ground level is not crossed

Visa changes give families fresh hope
Foreign workers can sponsor family members based solely on their income
Male residents employed in the UAE can sponsor immediate family members, such as wife and children, subject to conditions that include a minimum salary of Dh 4,000 or Dh 3,000 plus accommodation.
Attested original marriage certificate, birth certificate of the child, ejari or rental contract, labour contract, salary certificate must be submitted to the government authorised typing centre to complete the sponsorship process
In Abu Dhabi, a woman can sponsor her husband and children if she holds a residence permit stating she is an engineer, teacher, doctor, nurse or any profession related to the medical sector and her monthly salary is at least Dh 10,000 or Dh 8,000 plus accommodation.
