UMM AL QUWAIN // Two men’s salons have been shut down after health inspectors found staff using defective tools and unsafe products.
The Public Health division of Umm Al Quwain Municipality also warned other salons about the need to replace old barber’s chairs with newer models.
Ghanem Ali Saeed, head of the division, said salon inspections will be ongoing to ensure compliance with health legislation.
He also said salon employees should perform regular medical checkups to ensure they are not suffering from any infectious diseases.
