Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, The UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Queen Elizabeth II both attended day two of Royal Ascot in London.

The event is one of the highlights of the horse racing calendar.

The Deputy Ruler, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid certainly had cause for celebration, as his horse Mustajeeb, was crowned winner of the Jersey Stakes at Ascot Racecourse, followed closely Muwaary, also owned by Sheikh Hamdan.

He also found success in the final race of the day, the Sandringham Handicap for fillies, with his horse Muteela finishing first.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s wife, Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, was also present, alongside other Sheikhs and horse owners, WAM reported.
