Four Emirati servicemen have died in Yemen, the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces said on Wednesday.
Sub-Lt Khalifa Saif Saeed Al Khatri; First Warrant Officer Ali Mohammed Rashid Al Hassani; Sgt Khamis Abdullah Khamis Al Zeyoudi; and First Corporal Obaid Hamdan Saeed Al Abdouli each died while carrying out their duties as part of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's Operation Restoring Hope which seeks to back the legitimate government in Yemen.
Their deaths were not initially linked to the Arab Coalition's latest operation in Hodeidah, code-named Golden Victory, that was launched on Wednesday.
The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces offered its condolences to their families, praying to God that their souls rest in eternal peace.
