ERC completes three development projects in Palestine

The Emirates Red Crescent has completed three development projects worth more than Dh3.8 million, it announced on Tuesday.

The projects, carried out in three areas in Palestine, include the construction of a two-storey, two-minaret mosque in Deir Qaddis, a town west of Ramallah. The mosque is to serve 1,200 worshippers, according to the state news agency, Wam.

An additional story for a girls’ school in Deir Istiya, a town in Salfit governorate in the northwestern part of the West Bank, is expected to accommodate an additional 500 students.

The third project was the completion of 100 water wells that will serve 100 farming families in villages in Hebron governorate in the southern West Bank, the ERC office in Ramallah said.
