Emirates ID Authority website now available in five more languages

ABU DHABI // Information on the Emirates ID Authority website is now available in Malayalam, Urdu, Tagalog, Russian and Mandarin.

Previously the site was only presented in Arabic and English.

The authority said the decision to add extra languages was part of efforts to make its services accessible to the various nationalities that live in the country.

Abdulaziz Al Maamari, director of government and social communication at the Emirates ID Authority, said the decision was a result of surveys and studies on the number and types of visitors to the website, the departments and services most frequently visited and queries sought.
