Dubai Municipality bans flying drones over parks

Dubai Municipality announced that drones are no longer allowed to be flown over parks in the emirate.

The new rule would “protect the safety and privacy of visitors” to public parks in Dubai, the municipality said.

Last month, Dubai Municipality released video of drones used to disinfect streets during a sanitisation drive.

They helped municipality workers to reach difficult areas.
