Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Monday ordered 100,000 food parcels be given to half a million Iraqi and Syrian refugees in Kurdistan, before Ramadan.
The food, collected from local markets in Erbil, will be handed out by Emirates Red Crescent.
