The basic salaries of Emirati military personnel deputed in the Ajman police have been increased by 40 per cent.
The move comes after directives of Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid, Ruler of Ajman, and was implemented by Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid, Crown Prince of Ajman, according to the state news agency, Wam.
Military personnel who have recently joined the force and first police assistants will benefit. The decision will be implemented from next month.
Brig Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah, commander of Ajman police, praised the gesture.
