ABU DHABI // Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has declared that the Environment Authority Abu Dhabi is the competent authority in the emirate to license areas for hunting.
No area reserved for hunting shall be established or operated without prior licensing and registration with the competent authority, the decision states.
It also says that hunting will be allowed only within the geographical borders of the specified area and under the control and supervision of the operator and professional hunter.
Boundaries of the area for hunting are set in the licence, as well as the requirements for hunting activities in the area.
