DUBAI // A raft of new judges have been appointed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid in a swearing in ceremony held at Zabeel Palace.
Each of the 19 new legal supervisors took an oath before Dubai’s Ruler to uphold justice, respect the law, perform their duties with integrity and devotion and remain committed to honest practices in their role as judges.
Each was directed towards abiding by values of impartiality and integrity, to work under the cloak of the law and of the legal profession, avoid any bias and grant everyone their rights.
Sheikh Mohammed stressed that no one is above the law, all are equal in the eyes of the law and there can be no difference between rich and poor.
The ceremony was held in the company of Essam Issa Al Humaidan, attorney-general of Dubai, Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, director-general of Dubai Courts and other government officials.
