Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club is helping to raise funds for victims of the Nepal earthquake.
The club said 50 per cent of all “green fees” – what a golf course charges golfers to play – received this weekend will be donated to help support those affected by Saturday’s deadly quake.
Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani, the club’s managing director, said the club employs about 20 Nepalese staff, most of whom were affected in some way.
A collection box will also be set up at the club.
