Parking in Dubai will be free on Sunday and Monday - except at the fish market and in multi-storey car parks - in celebration of National Day.
"The Dubai Metro will start running at 5.50am and continue until midnight in the holiday period," said Dr Aysha Al Busmait, director of the Roads and Transport Authority's marketing and corporate communication.
"The express Metro service will also be operational as normal starting at 5.30am."
Buses from main stations such as the Gold Souq and Al Ghubaiba, and subsidiary stations such as Al Satwa, Al Qusais, Al Quoz Industrial and Jebel Ali will start at 6am and continue until midnight throughout the week.
Stations for feeder bus services at Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa, Etisalat and Abu Hail will run from 6am to 1am on Monday. Inter-city buses will run round the-clock.
Water buses and abras will operate from 7am to 10pm, water taxis from 10am to 10pm, and the Dubai Ferry from 9am to 7pm.
Vehicle testing and registration centres will be closed over the holiday except for Mumayaz, Al Wasl, and Al Shirawi, which will only be closed on Sunday.
