ABU DHABI // Weather forecasters warned that wind and blowing dust will cause poor visibility on the roads and rough seas on Wednesday.
It is caused by fresh southerly winds, forecast to continue to affect the country over the next few days.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said Wednesday will be partly cloudy with an increase in the amount of cloud in eastern parts of the country.
Coupled with blowing dust, visibility on the roads may be reduced, it said.
Winds will be moderate to fresh, and strong over the sea.
Thursday and Friday will be partly cloudy with fresh to strong southerly winds causing more blowing dust with a slight rise in temperature.
The temperature will average between 18-30°C in coastal areas and between 14-31°C in inland areas.
Forecasters also warned that conditions in the Arabian Gulf will become rough over the coming few days but will calm down late at night.
Conditions on the Oman Sea will be calm by Thursday afternoon with humidity increasing during the early morning over some coastal and internal areas.
