The FNC thanked those who have helped it over the past two years at a ceremony in the capital yesterday.
People from more than 130 local and federal government entities and the private sector were given certificates of appreciation by Mohammed Al Murr, the council’s Speaker.
Recipients included those from educational institutions, media outlets, municipalities and ministries.
Marwan bin Ghalita (Dubai) said cooperation was high in the past year as the number of laws and general topics discussed in the council covered various fields.
Winners of the FNC book-fair competition were also announced and awarded prizes.
Faraj Abdullah, 18, from Abu Dhabi, won a prize for correctly answering questions about the FNC.
