DUBAI // A man had sex with his boyfriend and a colleague in his apartment before the pair assaulted and stole from him, a court heard on Tuesday.
The French national had been in a relationship with a 23-year-old Pakistani baggage handler, Dubai Criminal Court was told.
The boyfriend and a second man, a 28-year-old Pakistani, arrived at the man’s apartment in International City at 4pm on December 26.

“The new man asked to have sex with me but I refused, after which they stripped me naked and raped me,” the Frenchman, a senior flight attendant, told prosecutors.
He said the pair then beat him up and stole three mobile phones, a laptop, an iPad, several bank and work cards, his airport permit and driving licence.
“Before they left, they held a knife against my face and threatened to kill me if I didn’t give them the secret code to my ATM card,” he said. The pair tied him up before they left his flat.
Police received a report of the assault and the Pakistani men were arrested. During questioning both said they did not force the French national into having sex, and that he paid them Dh150 each for it.
All three were referred to court.
The 58-year-old defendant admitted prostitution. The other two were charged with theft and sexual assault.
“I did it alone,” said the boyfriend in court. A verdict is expected on June 11.
