ABU DHABI // UAE flags must be flown at half-mast from 8am until 11.30am on November 30 to mark Martyrs’ Day.
The decision, from the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, was announced on Tuesday.
The President, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, declared November 30 as an annual day of remembrance for the sacrifices made by the nation’s armed forces.
Martyrs’ Day will be followed by flags flying high in celebration of UAE National Day on December 2.
