ABU DHABI // Etisalat is offering data, minutes and premium television channels to subscribers affected by a network outage.
The telecommunications company said it regretted the inconvenience to customers on Friday, when some experienced service disruptions.
Affected customers can receive a gigabyte of mobile data and 120 local minutes. The offer is available by dialling *103#, and will be accessible from Friday until next Wednesday, Etisalat said.
The company will also open free access to more than 60 premium channels to eLife television customers on Friday and Saturday, reported Wam, the state news agency.
Etisalat had said last Friday that residents in several parts of the UAE were unable to access the internet and make calls because of technical glitch that caused a slowdown in the network.
