About 1,000 Syrian, Lebanese, and Palestinian families in the Lebanese territory of Al Kharroub are receiving aid from Emirates Red Crescent.
The humanitarian assistance is part of the ongoing Emirati winter relief campaign for Syrian refugees this year.
Mussalam Al Mansouri, director of the humanitarian and developmental assistance Attache at the UAE Embassy in Beirut, oversaw the distribution of in-kind assistance.
The charitable organisation will begin the distribution of aid to needy families in various parts of Lebanon in the next few days. The last day of distribution will be on May 16 in Hasbaya and Shebaa.
