UAE weather to peak in mid-30s on Monday

Across the country, the temperatures are unlikely to break 40°C and in Abu Dhabi and Dubai it will be another day of highs in the mid-30s.

In Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the forecast is for a maximum of 35°C.

Along the coast and islands the temperature is likely to reach 37°C, and the mountains are expected to hit 28°C.

The interior should enjoy the highest temperature at 39°C.

The National Centre of Meteorology said Monday would be generally fair.

There will be light to moderate winds, freshening during the day, with speeds of 20 to 30 kilometres per hour that will reach 40kph.

Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
