UAE weather: Temperatures to hit low-40s

Along the coast and islands the maximum is likely to be 41°C, with 80 per cent humidity

Temperatures across the UAE will reach the low-40s on Saturday.

Along the coast and islands the maximum is likely to be 41°C, with 80 per cent humidity.

The interior is expected to reach 42°C, with up to 85 per cent humidity.

In the mountains, temperatures will hit 28°C, with 60 per cent humidity.

The National Centre of Meteorology said Saturday would be generally fair and partly cloudy over the east coast, and hazy westward.
Light to moderate winds will become freshening and gradually blow suspended dust westward by Sunday morning.

The sea will be slight, becoming moderate to rough at times by Sunday morning in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
