UPDATE: Flooding and storms in the UAE
After a sunny Friday, rain showers returned in the UAE on Saturday morning over areas in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The National Center of Meteorology posted a video captured by a road user featuring rainfall in Falaj Al Muala early on Saturday morning.

Rain was also reported at dawn on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi in Al Rahbah, Sweihan and Al Dhafra. It also rained lightly over Abu Dhabi – Al Ain road.
Meanwhile, the National Center of Meteorology warned seagoers of thunder and fresh to strong winds reaching up to 60kph at the Arabian Gulf. Seas will continue to be rough heading into Sunday.
Motorists were also warned against driving in wadis to avoid potential flooding, and blowing dust that will cause a lack of visibility on the road.
The wind speed on the road is expected to reach 55kph.
Temperatures will be warm to moderate during the day ranging between 32°C to 27°C , and dropping to around 20°C at night.
