The weather is expected to clear by Monday evening, though more rain is expected over the northern and eastern areas of the country, according to the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM).
Fujairah and Sharjah experienced more downpours on Monday morning with moderate winds expected to reach 38 kilometres per hour over the coast. Clouds will increase, but clear skies are forecast on Tuesday.

Further into the week, humidity is likely to increase at night and early morning over some internal areas with a chance of mist formation.Temperatures are expected to range between 27°C and 18°C in Abu Dhabi and 28°C and 20°C in Dubai.
Waters will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman on Monday easing slightly on Tuesday and Wednesday.
