UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi set for sand storms and rain

Temperatures could reach 27°C in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai

The UAE is set for a cloudy Monday, with the probability of sand storms and light rainfall over some coastal and northern parts of the country.

The National Centre of Meteorology forecasts a drop in temperatures, especially in the west of the UAE.

Moderate winds will cause sand storms, especially westward, the NCM said.

The weather bureau said that temperatures could reach 27°C in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai.

Wind speeds may reach 45kmph by the coast.

It will be moderate, becoming rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in the Sea of Oman.
