Weather conditions in Dubai on Thursday will be hot with moderate winds picking up sand and dust.
Temperatures are due to peak at 38°C shortly after midday, accompanied by winds of up to 24kph.
The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of high temperatures and dusty winds.
Temperatures are predicted to be slightly hotter, reaching 40°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 19kph.
The National Centre of Meteorology said winds blowing sand and dust could reduce horizontal visibility at times throughout the day.
Low clouds will appear over the Eastern coast during morning, it said, adding that seas could become rough at times.
Night time temperatures could drop to around 35°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Tuesday night and the early hours of Wednesday morning.
