UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi set for cool and sunny Friday

Mist is forecast for both cities during the morning, with fair conditions expected to last through the weekend

Weather conditions in Dubai on Friday will be mostly clear and sunny with a chance of mist forming in the early morning.

Temperatures are due to hit 24°C in the middle of the afternoon, accompanied by gentle winds of up to 13kph.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similarly misty morning, followed by sun and light breezes.

Slightly warmer temperatures have been forecast, peaking at 25°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of up to 11kph.

The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but said relative humidity would increase during Friday night and into Saturday morning.

Night time temperatures could drop to around 17°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Friday night and the early hours of Saturday morning.
