UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi set for cloudy start to Friday

Weather conditions in Dubai on Friday will be mostly clear and sunny with occasional clouds in the morning and a moderate breeze.

Temperatures are due to peak at 40°C shortly after midday, accompanied by gentle winds of up to 21kph.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of mostly clear skies and light breezes.

Temperatures are also predicted to hit 40°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 17kph.

The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but predicted a chance of some low clouds forming during the morning.

Night time temperatures could drop to around 35°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Friday night and the early hours of Saturday morning.
