Some clouds will develop over scattered areas, particularly in the north, according to the National Centre of Meteorology & Seismology (NCMS).

There will be light to moderate winds in general. Relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and tomorrow morning over some coastal areas, with a chance of mist over the northern coast, its online forecast states.

Humidity is expected to reach highs of 70 to 95 per cent on the coast, and 65 to 95 in the interior.

Temperatures will be as high as 34°C on the coast and 37°C in the interior.

Tomorrow will continue to be hot during the day, with mild to hot weather persisting through Thursday during the day. But residents can expect some reprieve at night as temperatures dip slightly.

It will be partly cloudy at times, particularly in the east, with light to moderate winds in general.

Relative humidity is likely to increase on both days, the NCMS forecast adds.
