Expect cloudy skies today, with light to moderate winds. Increasing humidity could cause fog over parts of the interior and the coast on Wednesday and Thursday morning.

The National Centre for Meteorology reported mist over some areas in the UAE, including Al Maktoum International Airport and Madinat Zayed, on Tuesday morning.

The centre has urged motorists, all allergy patients, asthma, road users and sea-vessels, to take all appropriate precautions due to the country's exposure to strong northwesterly dusty winds.

It said winds are expected to reduce visibility to 1,000-3,000 metres across different regions. It will be accompanied by rough to very rough seas and waves reaching from 7 up to 12 feet.

The barometer could drop as low as  5°C in the mountains, with a high of 17°C. On the coast, temperatures could range from 13°C to 26°C. In the interior could get up to 29°C today with lows of 12°C.

There will be northeasterly and northwesterly winds on the coast and interior, reaching up to 34kph.

This weekend, the weather will be partly cloudy and a little hazy, with light winds and possible fog in the mornings.
