Heavy rain lashed parts of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah on Saturday, with videos of the downpours showing strong winds and water-soaked roads.
Experts from the UAE's National Centre for Meteorology posted a number of videos of the storm to their Twitter feed, alerting motorists to take extra care.
The rain is understood to have hit Fujairah's Masafi region as well as RAK's Wadi Al Ejili.
