ABU DHABI // Rainfall, strong winds and dust storms will continue across the region today, forecasters have warned.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said northern and eastern regions would be worst hit by the continuing unstable weather that has battered parts of the UAE this week.
Strong, fresh winds reaching highs of 65 kilometres per hour are expected to hit the coast, kicking up dust and sand, reducing visibility and causing adverse road conditions, a report from the weather bureau said.
Officials said conditions could fluctuate from “cloudy to partly cloudy”.
Across the emirates, temperatures will hit highs of 25°C and reach lows of 15°C
In the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, the sea will be rough to very rough.
The weather is expected to start clearing tomorrow with lighter winds and cloudy to fair weather.
