Travellers at Abu Dhabi Airport are still experiencing delays on Sunday, three days after heavy fog disrupted flight schedules.
“We have a few delays,” said airport spokeswoman Elhame Bourani.
“It will take awhile for them to recover to their original schedules. This will recover gradually.”
Ms Bouraini said schedules should resume to normal within a couple of days and that most of the affected flights are Etihad’s.
This morning, Abu Dhabi airport's flight information website showed that many flights were taking off on time, and only a few long haul flights to North America and Europe were still experiencing longer delays.
