DUBAI // An Emirati woman in her 60s was tied up and robbed by her housemaid and three other Asian men, who stole cash and gold jewellery worth Dh95,000.
The gang threatened the woman with knives and tied her hands and feet during the robbery at her home in Ajman, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister paper of The National.
Lt Col Abdullah Al Matrushi, from Ajman police headquarters, said the maid helped the suspects enter the house after midnight and led them to where her employer kept jewellery and cash.
The suspects were arrested in cooperation with Sharjah Police. Two of them are factory workers, the third is a barber. A fourth man, who is still at large, works as a driver.
