Emirati man, 65, killed in RAK car crash

The car had swerved off the road before crashing, RAK police said, and the victim died while being transported to hospital.

RAS AL KHAIMAH // A 65-year-old Emirati man, A R H, died in a car crash on Friday afternoon on Al Bureirat Road towards Wadi Al Beih.

The car had swerved off the road and crashed, police said. The victim died while being transported to hospital.

Col Ali Al Alkim, director general of RAK traffic police, said that the operations room dispatched rescue teams and police vehicles to the scene of the crash upon being notified of the incident.

Col Al Alkim urged motorists to comply with traffic rules and regulations, and avoid being distracted while driving.
