Emirati inventor scoops 4 medals

Emirati inventor Ahmad Abdullah Majan won four medals for his latest inventions in the field of solar power and environment conservation at the International Trade Fair of Ideas, Inventions and New Products, in Nuremberg, Germany.

Mr Majan is the first to win this many honours in the history of the event, beating more than 700 exhibitors from 30 countries.

He was awarded the gold medal for his solar-powered pet-tracking device, two silver medals for his smart trap and smart duck trap. Another device to protect fishing nets from theft scooped the bronze medal.

The Emirati inventor dedicated his landmark achievement to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai for his continued encouragement and unwavering support for his career towards innovation and invention.
