ABU DHABI // An Emirati businessman donated Dh3 million to the Family Village Orphanage.

Engineer Abdullah Al Mousa handed a cheque to the secretary general of the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF), the organization responsible for the project.

The amount will go towards the construction and fit-out of a villa in phase one of the project, an initiative launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, ruler of Dubai.

Eng Al Mousa said donating to such projects reflects the social responsibility responsibility approach that businessmen and corporations must adopt to become valuable contributors to the society.

The project will provide a home for orphans in a stable atmosphere.
