ABU DHABI // An Emirates flight from Dubai to Maldives was forced to land in India due to a technical fault.
A spokesman for Emirates Airlines said on Tuesday that flight EK652 from Dubai to Maldives was diverted to Mumbai, reported Wam, the state news agency.
He added that the aircraft landed safely and all passengers disembarked. Emirates apologised for the inconvenience. The spokesman added that the health and safety of the crew and passengers are of paramount importance to the airline.
