ABU DHABI // Eight people stuck up a mountains in Ras Al Khaimah in searing temperatures have been rescued, police have said.
The group of Europeans got into trouble 915 metres above sea level.
The RAK Police air wing were dispatched after a call was received at 2pm on Friday.
The group were located and given water and first aid before being airlifted to hospital.
The hillwalkers were said to be suffering from heat stress.
