Eid Al Fitr began in the UAE with morning prayers. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, performed Eid Al Fitr prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, attended prayers at Zabeel Mosque before receiving people at Zabeel Palace.
