Sheikh Hazza calls on parents to prepare children for school year

ABU DHABI // Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, called on parents to prepare children for their next academic year through summer activities.

In a series of messages on Twitter, Sheikh Hazza commented on the recent call for building students’ capabilities and patriotism through summer programmes, made by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

“This call requires that activities be carefully studied and future summer programmes be prepared so as to benefit from and build on this successful experience,” Sheikh Hazza said on Thursday.

“Parents recognise the fact that their children need sound psychological and educational circumstances to be able to go back to school full of confidence and love.”

Pupils attending school for the first time this year need attention because the early stages of their education determine their future in education, he said.
