RAK Educational Zone investigate teacher who allegedly beat pupil with ruler

Ras Al Khaimah Educational Zone confirmed that a special committee has been formed to investigate the case of a fifth-grade teacher who allegedly beat a pupil with a metal ruler.

The committee has interviewed the pupil’s parents and the school administration, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister newspaper of The National.

The student’s parents, who have also lodged a complaint with the police, said that their son has sustained physical and mental trauma.
