DUBAI // A prestigious British preparatory school has announced it will open a campus in Dubai this September.
Foremarke School Dubai, a branch of Derbyshire's Foremarke Hall, will open its 25,978-square-metre campus in DuBiotech Science Park near Al Barsha.
For the 2012/2013 academic year, the school will only enrol pupils aged 4 to 7 (up to Year 2). In later years it will expand to cater to pupils up to the age of 11 (Year 6), eventually catering to up to 1,280 pupils.
The school will follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and National Curriculum of England and Wales.
The British campus serves as the Repton boarding school's preparatory schools and is being opened in the UAE by Evolvence Knowledge Investments, the same group that founded Repton School Dubai.
