New library at Al Wathba Municipal Center

The Abu Dhabi City Municipality received a public library for customers of Al Wathba Municipal Center

Abu Dhabi municipality has established a public library at Al Wathba Municipal Center.

The library has more than 100 books, serials and magazines that consumers can read while waiting to process their transactions.

This initiative demonstrates the commitment of the municipality to make recreational facilities available and its keenness to increase the knowledge of customers.

The municipality has also opened a public library at the swimming beach at Abu Dhabi Corniche and another at Al Bahya Park. A number of events have been held to encourage reading, such as Reading a Book and Abu Dhabi Reads.
