The forum was organised by the Queen Rania Academy for Teacher Training to provide teachers in the Arab World with modern educational strategies and teaching methods.

A delegation of 40 male and female teachers from the UAE was headed by Marwan Sawaleh, undersecretary for academic affairs at the ministry.

Before the forum, the attendees attended a two-day training session, where the teachers received training in specialised workshops in pedagogy, knowledge building, and organisation and the use of information technology in learning.
