The Ministry of Education has approved a timetable for the short and final exams for the three school terms of the academic year 2015-2016, which will be implemented in all public and private schools.
Exams will be unified across all schools following the ministry’s curriculum. There will be one exam per school day.
The first short exam for pupils from Grade 3 to Grade 12 will take place on September 28, including general and advanced tracks of Grades 10 and 11.
The second short exam starts on November 1 for pupils from Grade 3 to Grade 12, including general and advanced tracks for those in Grades 10 and 11.
Final exams marking the end of Term 1 will take place on December 6 for Grades 6 to 12, including both general and advanced tracks of Grades 10 and 11.
As for Term 2, the first short exam for students from Grade 3 to Grade 12 will take place on February 7 next year, and the second short exam will be held on March 13, including both general and advanced tracks of Grades 10 and 11.
For Term 3, the first short exam for students from Grade 3 to Grade 12 will begin on May 1, while the second short exam begins on May 22, for students in Grades 3 to 11.
Final exams marking the end of Term 3 will be held between June 15 and June 23, for Grades 3 to 11.
Results and reports for Grades 3 to 11 will be announced on January 12, for Term 1, April 12 for Term 2 and on June 29 for Term 3.
