Majid TV channel went live on air on Friday, providing entertainment and educational programmes for Arab children.
The channel, Abu Dhabi Media's latest initiative, is based on the popular Majid magazine, which has been established in the region for 37 years.
The channel aims to provide content showcasing the UAE, Emirati culture, heritage and traditions.
Abu Dhabi Media Company is the parent company of The National.
