ABU DHABI // The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development has extended a financial grant to Zayed University to support its participation in UAE Innovation Week.
The grant will help the university encourage its students to create ground-breaking projects through an on-campus competition that will be held from November 1 to 5, said Dr Fatima Al Darmaki, assistant provost for students affairs, according to the state news agency, Wam.
UAE Innovation Week is held in November under the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, to promote innovation across government sectors and departments to make the UAE a world leader in innovation.
