ABU DHABI // More than half a million parents, pupils, teachers, school staff, and public and private-sector workers have been invited to participate in a survey meant to shape the future of education in the emirate.
The Abu Dhabi Education Council survey was emailed to thousands of people this week and can be found on its website at bit.ly/outreach-surveys-en. It allows the public to "voice their ideas and suggestions" on how to improve education in the emirate, said Adec project manager Ahmed Al Khayyat Al Hammadi.
“A huge part of Adec’s mission is to involve its teachers and school leaders in its strategy plan,” said Mr Al Hammadi. “Now we are including more stakeholders, who we are confident will offer fresh new ideas that will assist us in re-prioritising projects, while examining different challenges among different people.”
The survey will be available online until Thursday. The public can also voice their opinions through social media using the hashtag #education_first.
