ABU DHABI // More than 450 occupational safety and health (OSH) officers from public and private schools across the emirate took part in an awareness workshop hosted by the Abu Dhabi Education Council.

The workshops, delivered in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region, delivered the basic rules and requirements of Occupational Safety and Health Abu Dhabi System Framework (OSHAD SF).

“A safe, secure and healthy school environment that adheres to OSHAD SF requirements is crucial for us as an education council, and adds credibility to all the work we do,” said Khaled Al Ansari, School Services Division Manager at ADEC. “A student’s safety is amongst the most important priority for us in ADEC, which is exactly why schools have been thoroughly inspected on their first day back by a team of professional OSH inspectors.”
