Dubai will spend almost Dh1 billion on road improvements in five residential areas by 2016, the Roads and Transport Authority has said.

Dubai will spend almost Dh1 billion on road improvements in five residential areas by 2016, the Roads and Transport Authority said yesterday.

Two contacts, valued at Dh38 million, have been awarded to build roads in Al Quoz and Al Qusais. Both are due to be completed next year.
